Absolutely! The hardest part is getting started and look...here you are wanting to learn more about getting started. That is such a huge step...congratulations! I am so stoked that you have come this far and are taking this step for your health.
This is a great way for you to learn about exercise, fitness, and nutrition because you will have someone knowledgeable teaching you right from the start! We will go at whatever pace fits your lifestyle for the season you are in at that moment. When the season changes the pace may change, if that is what works for you.
No you don't have to join a gym! I am able to take a guest with me to the gym so you are more than welcome to go with me. This way you can see if going to the gym is what works for you. I don't care where you start, I just want you to start where you are. An important goal for me is that you are comfortable. That means if you prefer to workout outside, I'll set up a plan for you outside. I also provide online consultations for at home workouts.
I also have an online app (mobile and desktop) where are all your workouts can be put for you. Whether you want to workout at the gym, at home, or outside with friends, all you have to do is log on and click the workout. My app is so much more than just workouts, it has everything you need to get started on your healthier lifestyle. You can track your habits, food, weight, measurements, workouts, goals, progress pic, or more.
It all depends on you! I will go at your pace to help you reach your goals. I respect the pace that you want to move forward at so the process becomes a part of who you are and your lifestyle. Whether you want to tiptoe when life is throwing the unexpected at you or you want to go full force because life is moving at a manageable pace, I've got your back.
I will be your biggest cheerleader. I work at your pace to help you not self sabotage because if you are not ready to move forward with something and we do it anyway, you WILL self sabotage without even realizing you are doing it.
With all that said, how fast or how slow we do all this depends on the amount time and effort you are able and willing put into living a healthier lifestyle and making yourself a priority!
Also, remember priorities are never in conflict so by making something important to you, you will make time for it instead of making excuses.
Remind yourself on a daily basis of how important you are and how bad you want to reach your goals! When you do this a mind shift will happen and your goals will always be within reach of the timeframe you set for them.
